International medical emergency NGO, MERLIN and Midnight Swim Productions are planning the upcoming recce trip to Haiti for a documentary that will coincide with the one-year anniversary of the Haiti earthquake of 2010. The film will focus on the huge number of amputee children in the country, their individual stories and future.
Gwen in Guatemala
A Channel 4 documentary that highlights child malnutrition and poverty in the country was researched and partly filmed by Gwen Isaac in Guatemala and the US. The film is the journey of a celebrity going to the country for the first time and investigating the work of various charities based in the rural areas.
